Ranjit, an 18 or 19 year old orphan boy here,said that he had read many philosophers and had heard many teachers and gurus, but that the teachings of Jesus were higher than those of any others.  He said that in India the teachers and philosophers say that one should develop oneself, one's own mind, and improve oneself, but that Jesus teaches that we should serve others, and care just as much about them as we care about ourselves.  That's a very revolutionary concept here in India.  "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with all thy strength, and with all thy mind, and thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."
